That’s completely okay. Part of our work together is discovering the story—its shape, meaning, and movement. We can begin by talking things through, freewriting, or exploring what matters to you. You do not need a thesis before you have space to think.

Yes. Almost everyone feels this way at some point. This space is shame-free. We move slowly, with care, and we focus on clarity.

No. You are welcome whether you have voice notes, scattered ideas, or a full draft. We begin where you are.

Most students shape a strong draft in 1–3 sessions, depending on depth, clarity, and reflection. Ongoing mentorship supports multiple essays or longer journeys.

How Sessions Work

We meet over Zoom, where I share my screen and we work through your writing together in real time. I encourage you to send any materials (drafts, notes, prompts, or reflections) before the session so I can understand your goals. After the session, I send a short summary with suggested revisions and next steps.

Yes. You can send drafts between meetings, and I offer written comments to help with clarity, structure, and narrative flow.
 -

No. Your story should sound like you. I help refine, strengthen, and deepen your language and structure—not replace your voice.
 -

Yes. Many students work with me across seasons—college to grad school, gap years, fellowship cycles. We can create a recurring or project-based plan.

Yes. I support writers at many different educational stages and paths. Some arrive with a clear direction, others begin in exploration. We build from wherever you are now.

Yes. Your story is shaped by where and who you come from. Those dimensions are sources of knowledge—not distractions. They belong in your writing.

Yes. Writing about oneself is emotional work. We can pause, breathe, reflect, and move at a gentle pace.
 -

Yes. We can speak in conversation first, and shape the words together after. Voice is often found in dialogue.
 -

Absolutely. We can use mind-mapping, storytelling, verbal processing, visual prompts, or quiet writing time. Your way of thinking is valid and welcomed.
